Terms and Conditions of Trade (Services)

Last updated: December 2025

1. Definitions

Customer means the person or entity engaging us.

Works means the goods and services we supply, including supply, repair, replacement, fabrication and installation of glass and aluminium products.

2. Quotes and scope

(a) Quotes are valid for [14] days unless stated otherwise.

(b) Quotes are based on information available at the time, including measurements, access, site conditions, and product availability.

(c) If the scope changes, we may issue a variation and adjust price and timing. We will confirm variations in writing.

3. Scheduling and access

You must provide safe and reasonable access to the site at the agreed time. Delays caused by restricted access, unsafe conditions, or customer delays may result in rescheduling and additional costs.

4. Deposits and progress payments

(a) We may require a deposit of 50% before ordering materials or scheduling work.

(b) Deposits may be non-refundable to the extent we have incurred costs (for example custom-made products) unless required otherwise under the Australian Consumer Law.

(c) We may require progress payments for larger jobs.

5. Payment terms

(a) Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are payable within [7] days.

(b) We may charge reasonable costs associated with late payment, including debt recovery costs, to the extent permitted by law.

6. Customer responsibilities

You must provide accurate information, disclose known hazards, and ensure the site is ready for works (for example clearing areas near windows/doors).

7. Defects and warranty process

(a) If you believe there is a defect, notify us promptly with details and photos where possible.

(b) We will assess and, where required, remedy defects in accordance with our obligations and the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Title and risk (where we supply goods)

(a) Risk in goods passes to you on delivery or installation.

(b) Title to goods remains with us until full payment is received, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Cancellations

(a) If you cancel after accepting a quote, you may be charged a reasonable cancellation fee reflecting costs incurred (for example ordering, cutting, fabrication and scheduling).

(b) We will not charge fees that are misleading or excessive.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, our liability is limited to resupplying the services or paying the cost of having the services supplied again, where permitted.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland and Australia.
